12V recovery winch with 9,500lb rated first-layer line pull, 26m of steel wire rope and a roller fairlead. Features IP68 protection, an automatic gearbox brake and a wired handheld remote. Free UK delivery.

The Novawinch PRO9500 PRO PLUS is a 12V electric winch for suitably equipped 4x4s, recovery vehicles and trailers. It delivers 9,500lb (4,309kg) of rated line pull on the first rope layer and comes with 26m of 9.5mm steel wire rope, a roller fairlead and a waterproof wired handheld remote.
A series-wound motor drives a combination of spur and planetary gears, while an automatic brake inside the gearbox holds the load when you stop winching. Its IP68 protection and metal construction make it a practical choice for outdoor recovery and vehicle loading work.
On the first rope layer, the PRO9500 has a no-load line speed of 16m/min, helping reduce the time spent retrieving unloaded rope. At its full rated pull of 9,500lb, line speed is 1.3m/min.
The rotating ring-gear clutch is operated by a 90-degree turn lever, allowing you to free-spool the rope when setting up a recovery. The wired remote provides control through a physical connection to the winch.
The supplied steel wire rope runs through a roller fairlead, which guides it towards the drum. Inspect the rope for broken wires, kinks and other damage before use, and wear suitable gloves when handling it.
If you are comparing rope types, our synthetic rope versus steel cable guide explains their differences in handling and maintenance.
The winch measures 608mm long × 180mm wide × 238mm high and uses a 254mm × 114mm mounting bolt pattern. Check the available space, mounting structure and fairlead position before installation.
Current draw is 50A with no load and 360A at full rated first-layer pull. The installation needs a suitable 12V battery supply, correctly sized cables and secure connections. Follow the supplied instructions for installation, operating periods and cooling between demanding pulls.
The 9,500lb rating describes pulling force, not a maximum vehicle weight. Recovery resistance depends on the slope, ground conditions and whether the vehicle can roll. Available line pull also decreases as rope builds up on the drum.
Read our guide to winch line pull and drum layers to understand how this affects performance. For a recovery truck installation, our recovery truck winch sizing guide explains the main considerations.
This winch is for pulling and recovery. Use suitable independent restraints to secure vehicles during transport, and do not use it for overhead lifting.
