Heavy Duty Recovery Straps for Underlift Towing

Our recovery truck straps are built for commercial vehicle recovery, underlift towing and recovery restraint. The 56 tonne recovery safety strap suits DRS, VDZ and standard fork underlift setups, with a 56,000kg maximum pulling capacity, a 9.6m circumference and 100% polyester construction.

Pulling and restraint only. These straps are not for overhead lifting or fall arrest. For lifting, use rated lifting slings.

Choosing a Recovery Safety Strap

  • Rating: choose by the rated capacity on the label, and make sure every part of the setup, including anchor points and fittings, suits the forces involved.
  • Length: check the strap reaches your underlift and anchor points without excess slack or poor routing.
  • Application: confirm the strap suits your underlift type and recovery method before use.
  • Edges and surfaces: protect the webbing from sharp or abrasive edges, which can cut polyester under load.

Using Recovery Straps Safely

Inspect the strap before every use for cuts, abrasion, damaged stitching, heat or chemical damage, or an unreadable label. Never knot the webbing or use a damaged strap. Remove it from service and replace it.
