24V electric winches operate directly from 24V vehicle or plant systems, making them ideal for heavy-duty applications. They are specifically engineered for recovery trucks, flat-bed trailers, industrial machinery, and professional recovery tasks. Compared to 12V models, the Novawinch 24V range provides superior torque and extended duty cycles, with capacities tailored for demanding recovery and industrial applications.
To tackle the most challenging tasks across the UK, our 24V electric winches are available with options including synthetic or steel rope, IP67/IP68 protection, and wired or wireless remotes.
Novawinch’s 24V electric winch range is built for recovery trucks, flat-bed trailers, tractors and industrial plant. Capacities run from mid-frame (e.g. 9,500lb–12,500lb in PRO PLUS) through to large-frame (e.g. 14,500lb–18,500lb in PRO MAX), plus EN Series and KX worm gear options. Models are available with synthetic rope or steel wire rope, IP67/IP68 sealing and wired or wireless remotes. 12 month warranty, free next day delivery across the UK.
Choose a 24V electric winch when your vehicle or plant has a 24V electrical system, typical for many recovery trucks, flat-bed trucks, tractors and industrial machinery. 24V winches deliver higher torque and extended duty cycles than equivalent 12V units and draw lower current at a given load, which reduces strain on the electrical system. Use 12V winches for 4x4s, ATVs, quads and trailers that run 12V.
Yes. 24V electric winches are built for recovery trucks, flat-bed trailers, tractors and industrial applications. The Novawinch 24V range includes capacities and rope types (synthetic or steel) for professional recovery and heavy load handling. IP67/IP68 sealing and robust construction suit demanding UK conditions. 12 month warranty and free next day delivery.
Synthetic rope is lighter and easier to handle and is a good choice for recovery and controlled pulls. Steel wire rope is very abrasion-resistant and suits industrial or heavy commercial use. Both are available across the 24V range, choose synthetic for recovery and handling, or steel where abrasion resistance is the priority.
A clicking sound usually indicates a faulty solenoid. The solenoid is the switch that sends power to the winch motor. If you hear clicking but the winch isn’t turning, the solenoid is likely the cause. We sell replacement solenoids designed for our winches. If your winch is still under warranty, get in touch, we’ll troubleshoot and repair or replace the solenoid free of charge if it’s a warranty-covered defect.
Yes. Electric winches can draw a lot of power and can drain your vehicle’s battery if used heavily or for long continuous pulls. Avoid long non-stop winching; give the battery time to recover between pulls. For frequent or heavy use, consider running the engine (if applicable) or upgrading your battery/charging setup.
24V electric winches from Novawinch come with a 12 month warranty and free next day delivery across the UK. Technical support is available for product selection and fitment.
