NVT10000 12V 4x4 Winch with 26m Synthetic Rope

The Novawinch NVT10000 is a middle-frame electric winch for suitably equipped 4x4s, trailers and general recovery applications. It delivers 10,000lb (4,536kg) of rated line pull on the first rope layer and comes with 26m of 9.2mm synthetic rope, an aluminium hawse fairlead and a wired handheld remote.

Its 12V series-wound motor drives a three-stage planetary gearbox, while a mechanical automatic brake holds the load when you stop winching. The pull-and-turn clutch allows you to free-spool the rope when setting up a pull.

Synthetic Rope for Easier Handling

Synthetic rope is lighter and more flexible to handle than a comparable steel wire rope. The aluminium hawse fairlead provides a smooth guiding surface as the rope enters the drum.

Check the Fit and Electrical Supply

The NVT10000 measures 568mm long × 158mm wide × 260mm high and uses a 254mm × 114.3mm mounting bolt pattern. Check the available space, mounting structure and fairlead position before ordering.

At its full rated first-layer pull, the winch draws 380A and operates at 1.6m/min. It needs a suitable 12V battery supply, correctly sized cables and secure electrical connections. Follow the installation instructions and operating limits supplied with the winch, including cooling periods during demanding use.

Choosing the Right Winch for Your Recovery

The 10,000lb rating describes pulling force, not a maximum vehicle weight. The force needed for a recovery depends on the gradient, ground conditions and whether the vehicle can roll. Available line pull also decreases as additional layers of rope build up on the drum.
