NVT3500 T Series 3,500lb (1.6T) 12V ATV & UTV Winch - 13.7m Synthetic Rope

The Novawinch NVT3500 T Series is a compact 12V ATV and UTV winch delivering 3,500lb (1,589kg) of rated line pull on the first rope layer. It is suited to quad bikes, side-by-sides, agricultural buggies and other compact utility vehicles requiring more pulling capacity than a typical 2,500lb ATV winch.

The winch is fitted with 13.7m of 5mm synthetic rope, helping reduce rope weight while avoiding the sharp wire strands that can develop on damaged steel cable. Synthetic rope must still be inspected regularly for abrasion, cuts, contamination and heat damage.

Compact 12V ATV and UTV Winch

The NVT3500 measures 334mm long, 115mm wide and 121mm high, with a compact 124mm × 76mm mounting bolt pattern. Before ordering, check the available installation space, mounting plate dimensions and electrical capacity of the intended vehicle.

Its 3,500lb rating describes the pulling force available on the first rope layer. It is not a vehicle-weight rating or lifting capacity, and the available pulling force reduces as additional rope layers build on the drum.

First-Layer Performance

With no load on the first rope layer, the NVT3500 has a published line speed of 4.2m/min and draws approximately 26A. At its full 3,500lb first-layer rating, the published line speed is 1.7m/min with a motor current of 180A.

The sliding ring-gear clutch allows the drum to be disengaged so the rope can be pulled out manually. A mechanical automatic brake helps hold tension when winching stops. The winch must not be used for lifting or as the sole means of restraining a vehicle or load.

Installation and Electrical Requirements

The vehicle’s battery, charging system, power cables and electrical connections must be capable of supporting the winch’s current requirements. The winch should be installed on a suitable mounting structure according to the supplied instructions.
