9mm Synthetic Winch Rope (6,800kg / 15,000lbs MBL)

This yellow 9mm synthetic winch rope and directly replaces steel cable on 4x4 and heavy-duty recovery winches. It is significantly lighter than wire, remarkably stronger for its diameter, floats in water, and features a coated finish to resist abrasion. Furthermore, should the line fail, the risk of whiplash is far lower than with traditional steel cable.

Lighter, Stronger, and Safer Than Wire

Compared with traditional steel winch cable, this synthetic rope is approximately six times lighter and much easier to handle, eliminating the risk of painful wire splinters. It boasts a massive 6,800kg (15,000lbs) Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) and maintains its full strength even when spooled on the drum.

Floats and Resists Abrasion

Its ability to float makes this rope the ideal upgrade for wet or muddy vehicle recoveries where steel wire would sink. The coated finish provides robust protection against abrasion from rocks and fairleads, while its bright yellow colour ensures high visibility both on the drum and in the field.
