Winch Accessories & SparesTransport the heaviest machinery and industrial cargo with total peace of mind using the Rydam Grade 100 Ratchet Chain Load Binder. Forged from premium, heat-treated alloy steel, the G100 series provides a significant performance upgrade over standard Grade 80 binders. With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of up to 13,400kg, this binder is designed for professional transporters who refuse to compromise on safety or strength.
The integrated folding handle is a game-changer for deck safety. It allows for high-leverage tensioning while maintaining a low profile to prevent snagging or damage to cargo. For added security at rest stops, the lockable pin position allows you to secure the binder with a padlock, preventing unauthorized tampering or accidental release during transit.
Every Rydam Grade 100 binder is rigorously load tested and fully certified to EN12195-3 transport standards. The double-wing shortening hooks feature integrated safety pins, ensuring the lashing chain remains securely seated even during the vibrations and shifts of long-haul transport.
Key Features:
Yes. Our load binders feature a dedicated lockable pin position. While the padlock is not included, this feature allows you to secure the binder to prevent unauthorised tampering.
Choice should be based on your chain size and the weight of your load. Use the 10mm binder for standard heavy machinery (up to 6,300kg SWL on G80 or 8,000kg on G100). Use the 13mm binder for extreme loads (up to 10,600kg SWL on G80 or 13,400kg on G100). Always ensure your chain grade matches your binder grade.
Safety: It reduces the profile of the binder on your trailer deck. Space: It allows for easier tensioning in confined spaces where a full-length fixed handle might be obstructed.
The primary difference is the strength-to-weight ratio. Grade 100 (G100) alloy steel is approximately 25% stronger than Grade 80 (G80). This allows you to achieve a higher Safe Working Load (SWL) with the same size chain, which is critical for extreme heavy-haulage and specialised transport.
