This yellow synthetic winch rope is supplied with a safety hook and is a direct replacement for steel cable on 4x4 and recovery winches. It is much lighter than wire, stronger for its size, floats in water, and has a coated finish to resist abrasion. If the line fails, the risk of whiplash is far lower than with steel cable.
